W. Duffey conducted the funeral services for Mrs. Kate P. Pfeifer, who died Wednesday morning after a long illness. Mrs. Pfeifer had been strongly identified with the Rebekah lodge and was a past noble grand. This order attended the services in large numbers being seated in a body, and conducted the ritualistic services at the grave in the Oak Hill cemetery, where the interment took place. There were many flowers for the services which were in charge of Mrs. A. L. Fox and Mrs. Irene Greer. The bearers were D. A. Alexander, A. L. Fox, Don McVeigh and John King. Mr. and Mrs. William Corning, of Otsego, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Baldwin, of Lyons, were here to attend the services.
