He had not been well for over a year, and some time ago made a trip to the University of Michigan hospital for a diagnosis, but received no encouragement relative to his condition. Taking his last chance to prolong his life, he submitted to the operation which was fruitless. He was a member of the B.P.O.E., of Ionia. He leaves his wife, his parents, and two brothers, Jerry and Bud, of Ionia. The funeral services will be held from the Stebbins funeral home Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. The burial will be north of Lakeview.
