Hudson-Lenawee Co. Paper, March 1922

Mrs. Caroline E. {helps, 76, of Ionia, died at her home there Mar. 12. Born 
Nov. 20, 1854, at Medina, her parents were M/M Geo. W. Moore, Lenawee co 
pioneers. Married Geo. F. Phelps of Hudson in 1866, moved to Ionia in 1876. 
Leaves 2 sons, W. M. Phelps of Detroit, G. M. Phelps of Iioonia, 1 sis, Miss 
Harriett L. Moore, Spencerport, NY, 7 sis-in-law, Mrs. H.T. Thomas of East 
Tawas, Mi.
