                               PHENIX

Betty J.Phenix age 86 of Ionia passed away June 17, 2022. She was born November 
8, 1935 in Leachville, Arkansas the daughter of William and Lorraine (McPike) 
Reed.She married James Goodman in 1952, he passed away in 2019. Betty later 
married Wayne Phenix, he passed away in 2006.

Surviving Betty are children; Peggy (Randy) Cherpes of Ionia, James (Sheri) 
Goodman of Flint and Dennis (BobbyJo) Goodman of Alabama. Grandchildren; Chasidy 
(Joe) Van Ells, Randy (Rhoda) Cherpes, Tina Goodman, Nick Goodman, Jesse (Lori) 
Goodman,Kevin (Angie) Goodman and Jenifer (Lane) Gable. great-grandchildren, 
Keisha, Dane (Baylee), Dawson, Cierra, Steven, Jayce, Merissa, Micaela, 
Elizabeth, Braydon, Austin,Rebecca & Katelyn. 10 great-great-children also.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Nicki Reed, 1 great-grandchild 
Payton Cherpes and 2 brothers and 1 sister. 

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Betty's life will be held at a 
later date.Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Online
