GEORGE BRUCE "JACK" PHILLIPS
George Bruce "Jack" Phillips died August 22, 2016-age 91
Born December 13, 1924 at Portland & raised on a farm in Portland,MI.
Served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Transferred from University of Michigan & earned his BA degree at Michigan 
Agricultural College majoring in English & History. Received his Juris Doctor 
from Wayne state University Law School. Admitted to Mich. State Bar Law on 
Jan.6, 1954. His professional success allowed him worldly travel. 
Jack was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Lillian (Spencer) Phillips, and 
his sister. Survived by a daughter, nieces, and  nephews.
Funeral service Monday Aug. 29, at noon, at Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing 
Chapel. 
Interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing, MI
