Annette C. Russell was born in Otisco township, Ionia county, December 6, 1846 
and passed out of this life October 28, 1926 at the home of her son, Charles, 
in Greenville, where she has made her home for the past four years.  She was 
the oldest daughter of William and Sara Russell, was united in marriage to 
Wilson M. Phillips, December 31, 1865, who passed away nine years ago last 
July.  To this union was born three sons, who are all living: Frank, of Otisco; 
Charles, of Greenville and George, of Belding.  One brother, William Russell, 
of Six Lakes, also eight grandchildren and a host of relatives, friends and 
neighbors.  Services were held Sunday, October 3 by Rev. H.S. Ellis.  Music by 
Clayton Knapp and wife.  Interment in Otisco cemetery.
