Lake Odessa Wave Thursday April 5, 1979

GRAYCE L.PHILLIPS

Grayce L. Phillips, 92, of 144 E.Main Street Ionia died March 26 at the Cherry 
Creek Nursing Home, Lowell, where he had been a patient since January 1979.

She was born in Galena, Ill., on June 20,1886 the daughter of Alexander and 
Minnie (Wightman)Chadwick. She attended school in Chicago and married Flint 
Phillips in Holland in 1908. He died in 1966.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Ionia and attended the First Christian 
Church in Ionia.

She is survived by one daughter Mrs.Frank (Madeline) Barnhard of Alto; four 
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held March 12 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Clarksville, the Rev Elwood Norton officiated. Burial was in the Clarksville 
Cemetery.
