Ionia Standard - Friday May 7, 1909

The remains of Mrs.Mary Phillips arrived in Ionia on Tuesday evening, and were 
laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. with 
service at the home on West Yeomans street, at which Rev's E.E. Branch and G.W. 
Moore will officiate. 
The friends accompanying the remains are: Her sons John and Herman, and a 
grandson, Leonard Phillips, and wife, all from Gilboa, Ohio; and Levi Phillips 
and wife, of Findlay, Ohio. Another son Joshua, and wife and son, of 
Elwell,Mich., are also here. 
The entire family of eleven children are her to attend the funeral, and this is 
the first time they have all been together since the  death of the father, some 
fourteen years ago.
