February 22, 1968 SERVICES HELD FOR HARRISON R.PHILO Harrison R. Philo, 72, retired carpenter, passed away Thursday at Pennock Hospital. He had been hospitalized four days but in ill health for several months. A native of Berlin township, Ionia County, he was the son of Henry and Jennie Philo and spent most of his life in the Lowell and Saranac areas before coming to Lake Odessa 10 years ago from Lowell. His wife Hazel, passed away six years ago. Surviving are two sons, Harold of Portland, Oregon and Clarence of Battle Creek; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.Mae Armour of Lake Odessa and a brother, Maurice of Lowell. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. Rev.
