Portland Review - Feb. 3, 1992


Clarence H. Philp, 76, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Hastings, died Jan. 22, 
1992, at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born in Detroit on June 5, 1914, the son of Walter and Florence Philp.

He retired from the City of Hastings as a heavy equipment operator.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; children, Richard Philp and Linda Clum, both of 
Grand Rapids; and two grandchildren, Calvin Jr. and Theresa.

Services were held Jan. 25 at the Rosier Funeral Home, Mapes-Fisher Chapel in 
Sunfield with the Rev. Ward Pierce officiating.

Interment was in West Sebewa Cemetery in Sebewa Township.

Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
