The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, October 13, 1937

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary G. Pickens, 59, who died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Randall Hough, 207 South Jackson street, Wednesday morning at 
9:30 o’clock following a long illness, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 
o’clock at the Myers funeral home with interment at the family lot at Lakeside 
cemetery at Lake Odessa.

She was born in Berlin township January 28, 1878, and has been a resident of 
Berlin most of her life.  She was married to Almon Pickens July 6, 1905.
