ECHOES OF 25 YEARS AGO
According to the files of The Lake Odessa Wave-Times
Friday, Nov. 15, 1918

Orvin Pickens, nearly 27, died from pneumonia at his home in Orange on October 
30; Chris Snyder died from pneumonia at Camp Custer yesterday. There are about 18 
or 20 cases of influenza or pneumonia in the community.
