Mrs. Pickett was the widow of Robert Pickett, who died many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Pickett built the house on Depot street now occupied by the work shop of Nicholas Wagner and lived there for many years. Mr. Pickett was a gunsmith by trade. Mrs. Pickett is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Haney, of Saugatuck; Mrs. S. H. Sweet, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Asa Engleman, of Detroit. The funeral service will be held from the Bradley chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Dr. W. K. Spencer will have charge of the service. Burial will take place at Oak Hill cemetery.
