Mark was born December 21, 1948 to Escelio and Alice Pierantoni. He was married on January 19, 1973 to Ilene Edwards and they have been married 31 years. Mark was employed as a sale consultant at Betten Chevrolet, Olds and Cadillac in Muskegon since 1997. Mark had a special give of servicing his customers, which was reflected in his numerous awards in customer service and, most of all, his gift of caring for his customers who called him a “friend.” Mark enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, hunting, golf and, most all, his HO train collection. He will be most remembered as someone who enjoyed and loved his family and friends and genuinely cared for people. He was preceded in death by his father, Escelio, in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Ilene, and son, Todd, of Muskegon; mother, Alice Pierantoni of Greenville; sister, Lauren Christensen of Greenville; brother, Wayne and Anna Mae Pierantoni of Grosse Point; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were 11 a.m. today at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Burial is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorial contributions are requested to be made to Hospice of Muskegon/Oceana County.
