The Belding Banner, Thursday, May 10, 1906

Last week two of our old pioneers were buried, one being Mr. Adriel Pierce 
aged 84 years, whose funeral was held at Woodard Lake last Sunday, and the 
other was Mr. John Higbee aged 90 years, whose funeral was held at his home 
last week Tuesday.  Rev. Moore of Ionia officiated at both services.
