Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tues Oct 27, 1931
Mrs. Harry Pierce, who underwent a major operation at the Detroit osteopathic 
hospital Wednesday died Sunday evening at 6 o'clock.  The body arrived in 
Ionia Tuesday and was taken to the home of her sister, Miss Nellie Adams, in 
Orleans, where the funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon.  Burial 
will be in Palo cemetery.  

Mrs. Pierce lived for years in Ronald Township.  She leaves besides the sister 
mentioned, her husband and a sister, Mrs. John Pettit of Fenwick
