Ionia Standard, 30 Dec 1910

The last rites over the body of Caleb Pierce took place Thurs., 22d.,  at the
late residence on the State road, Rev. Callen of the Methodist church
officiating.  The pallbearers were men who had been connected with Mr. Pierce in
business life, or former neighbors: Fred Wortman, Ralph Smith, Harvey Moffett,
John C. Beattie, Chauncey Christian and Sidney Thurston.  Interment took place
in Easton cemetery.
