Grace R. Pierce, 77, of Ionia died Saturday morning at Blodgett Hospital in 
Grand Rapids.  She was born in Detroit Sept. 24, 1920, the daughter of Amos 
(Nina Tucker) Good.  She married Donald Pierce in 1961.

She is survived by three sons, Gerald (Judie) Canfield of Saranac, William 
Larson of Florida and Daryl (Doris) Pierce of Ionia; one sister, Clara 
(Curtiss) Osborne of Saranac; two sisters-in-law, Charlett Cooper of Ionia and 
Ann Chase of Saranac; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step 
grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and 
special friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in November 
1997; and three brothers, Albert Chase, Tom Borton and Calvin Cooper.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in 
Saranac with Rev. James Frank officiating.  Interment will be at Easton 
Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday evening from 
7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
