Daily Standard - Thursday, March 30, 1916

Mrs. William Pierce died at 7:30 Sat. morning after an illness covering eleven 
weeks at the home at 318 Adams street. The funeral arrangements have been 
postponed until word can be received from a sister living in California, and an 
uncle in Florida. Mrs. Pierce was Miss Ella Long of Muir. She married Mr. 
Pierce 21 years ago. the husband and a daughter, Hazel Pierce, survive and also 
Ben Powers, a son by a former marriage.
