         Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                 Adelaide Pierce

Died Thursday September 5, 1985-age 87 at Carson City Hospital.
Born July 2, 1898 in Greenville, daughter of William & Cora Cole Bower.
Member of Carson City United Methodist Church & United Methodist Women.
Her husband, Glenn preceded her in death in 1968.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.Al (Jane) Gavitt, Belding, Mrs. Dorothy 
Wilson, Carson City, Mrs.Lee (Lucille) Benedict, Greenville, two sons and 
daughters-in-law, Rich & Joanne Pierce,Middleton, Dr.James & Marlene 
Pierce,Midland a sister Mrs.Roberts Snyder, Greenville, 19 grandchildren & 23 
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are Sunday at 1 p.m. at Carson City United Methodist Church.
Rev. Ray Grienke officiating.
Interment will be in Bloomer Township Cemetery.
Visitation at Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City today from 7-9 & Saturday 9 
a.m. to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carson City united Methodist Church.
