The Belding Banner, Thursday, August 23, 1900
Mrs. H. M. Pierce, of Olive Centre, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. 
E. Hudson, Wednesday, aged 70 years.  She leaves besides her aged husband, 
several sons and daughters to mourn her loss as follows: Mrs. E. E. Hudson and 
Hoyt and Lewis Pierce of this city, C. H. Pierce, of Alba, Mrs. E. A. Lyon of 
Riverside, Mrs. Alice Brockway and Mrs. Nellie Chatfield of Grand Haven.  

Funeral Friday afternoon at 2:30 from Mr. Hudson’s residence.
