Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Mabel I. Pierson, 100, of Belding, formerly of Orleans, died Tuesday at the 
Belding Christian Nursing Home.  She was born the daughter of William and Rose 
Jenks Clark on February 25, 1891, in Montcalm County.  She is survived by two 
daughters; Esther Hodson of Orleans; Elayne Moore of Ionia; several 
grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband 
Rob Pierson and her son Elwyn.  

Funeral services will be at 11 am Saturday at the Cook Funeral Home in Ionia, 
with Rev. Harger officiating.  Burial will be in Orleans Cemetery.  Pallbearers 
will be:  Rean Hodson, Byron Hodson, Lee Pierson, and Roger McKenzie.  The 
family will be at the Rich Street Chapel from 10 to 11 am Saturday.
