Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Feb. 26, 1934


Samuel L. Pike, 82 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry 
Pritchard in Easton, Sunday morning at 9:30, February 25. Mr. Pike had been ill 
for some time but was not thought to be in a serious condition. Born in Canada, 
he came to Easton Township when three years old and has been a resident there 
since. He is survived by three children, Mrs. Henry Pritchard of Easton, Fred 
and Bert Pike of Trufant, and one brother, William Pike, of Idaho. Funeral 
services will be held at the Pritchard residence, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30. 
Rev. F.G. Wright, of Saranac will conduct the service. Interment at the family 
lot in the Easton Cemetery.
