Pike, 75, of Ionia, died Wednesday evening at a convalescent home in Baldwin. She was born in Lebanon township, Clinton County, on March 9, 1910, the daughter of Alvin and Hattie (Ricker) Tyler. She married Lewis Pike in Matherton on March 31, 1927, and had lived in Ionia since. She was employed at Peschke Packing Company for several years. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1969. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Allan (Helen) Hoxie of West Branch, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Leona Peoples of Ionia and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Nina Tyler of Ionia. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Leddick Funeral Home, with the Rev. John F. Sorensen of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery.
