The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, April 16, 1953

Earl Pinckney, 66, of near Saranac died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at the 
Ionia Rest Home after a long illness.  He was born September 28, 1886, in 
Ionia county.

Surviving are three brothers, Fred of Lowell, Fay of Grand Ledge and Dewey of 
Colusa, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Fairchild of Alto and Mrs. Viola 
Condon of Lowell.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Morris funeral home in 
Saranac.  The Rev. Kenneth Brady will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Pinckney cemetery.
