K. Pinkney was born Sept. 13, 1840, in the township of Westphalia, Clinton county, and died June 4, 1915, aged 74 years, 9 months and 21 days. At the age of three years he moved with his parents to the township of Keene, which has since been his home. He was married to Maria Prosser, January 1, 1863, who preceded him by seven years. There are left to mourn his death, three sons and one daughter, Jay, Allie and Cora of Lake City, and Ernest of Keene; one brother Henry of Saranac and one sister Caroline of Morley. The funeral was held at the home in Keene on Sunday, June 6, Rev. D.C. Riehl officiating, and many neighbors and friends attended.
