April 6, 1957 Harry F. Pinkston, 57, of Route one, Muir, died Thursday, April 9, at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He had been ill about two months. Born October 22, 1901 at Vestaburg, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Pinkston. He was married to Opal White, March 14, 1933. They lived at their present residence in North Plains Township about six years. Mr. Pinkston had been employed at the Ionia Manufacturing Company for several years. Surviving are his wife, Opal; two sons, Lloyd Pinkston of Lansing, and Richard Pinkston of Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Domme lf Lakeview; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Victor of Ionia and Sidney of Grand Ledge, and two sisters, Mrs. Nora White ____ and Mrs. Iva Badder of Orleans. Three brothers, Arthur, George and Allen, preceded him in death. Funeral service was held Sunday, April 12, at the Myers Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer Ubbink, pastor of the Lyons Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Tuttle Cemetery. Bearers were Norman Carter, Howard Sheaffer, Ed Nobis, Earl Nobis, Wilfred Graves and Charles Miller.
