Pinnow, 78, of 469 Allen street, died early Thursday morning in Pontiac General hospital where he had been a patient the past six weeks. He was born July 27, 1883 in Germany, the son of Fred and Emma Pinnow and came to Ionia following his marriage to Annamarie Hadamitzki in Berlin, Germany, March 10, 1910. He went back to Germany in 1911 returning in 1914 to Ionia where he had since lived. Mr. Pinnow was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church. He sang in the church choir for many years and at the time of his death was president of Lutheran Fraternal association. A former employe of the Pere Marquette car shop, Mr. Pinnow later became a decorator and paint contractor. He is survived by his wife, Annamarie. The body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until Saturday noon when it will be removed to St. Johns Lutheran church for service at 2:30. The Rev. Theodore Timler will officiate and interment will be at Balcom cemetery.
