Anna A. Pinnow, 91, of 658 Rich St., Ionia, died Wednesday at Belding Christina 
Nursing Home.  She was born in Ionia on April 17, 1888, the daughter of William 
and Marie (Yaeger) Melzow.

She was married April 17, 1918, to William Pinnow in a ceremony at St. Johns 
Lutheran Church, Ionia.  Mr. Pinnow preceded her in death in January 1955.  She 
was a member of the Lutheran Ladies Aid Society and a member of St. Johns 
Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son, Vern of Ionia; one stepson, William, Jr., of Grand 
Rapids; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ray (Charlotte) Heil of Milwaukee, Wisc., Mrs. 
Em Retzen of Port Washington, Wisc.; three grandchildren, and two great 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from St. Johns Lutheran 
Church, with Rev. J.W. Shippola of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansing, 
officiating.  Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.  Family will receive 
friends and relatives from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 
p.m. Friday at the Leddick Funeral Home.
