Mrs. Grace Piper, 83, route two, Fenwick, died at her home on Woods road 
Thursday evening.

She was the daughter of David and Isabelle Clawson and was born in Springport 
April 18, 1882. In 1902 she was married to Frank L. Piper who preceded her in 
death in 1941.

Mrs. Piper resided the past 50 years at the present home.

She is survived by a son, Glenn Piper of Ionia; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth 
Munger, Mrs. Alice Branton and Mary Piper, all of Woods Road, and Mrs. Helen 
Johnson of route one; 12 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at Myers funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Norman 
J. Wibert of Matherton United Brethren in Christ church will officiate and 
interment will be at Woodard lake cemetery.

Funeral service for Mrs. Grace Piper, 83, of route two, Fenwick, who died 
Thursday evening, was Monday afternoon, the Rev. Norman Wibert officiated and 
interment was at Woodard Lake cemetery.

Bearers were grandsons, Frank and Donald Piper, Harry Moon, James Johnson, Otto 
Brimmer and Orris Rich. 

Attending from out of town were; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Piper of St. Johns, Mr. and 
Mrs. Donald Piper and family of Norfolk, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson of 
Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Brimmer and family of Muir, Mr. and Mrs. Orris Rich 
and family, Sephus Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Smith of Greenville; Mr. and 
Mrs. Paul Kreger and Mrs. Luella Deyoe of Albion; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Drumm of 
Marshall, Mrs. Frank Dove of Jackson, Mrs. Robert Osmun of Eaton Rapids.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Abbey of Lake Orion, Mrs. Lillian Wilson of East Lansing, Mrs. 
Dora Lassen of Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lavender of Edmore, Mrs. Edna Kraft 
of Belding, Mrs. Eleanor Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pierson, Mr. and Mrs. 
LeRoy Schnicke and Mrs. Lena Schnicke of Orleans; Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Piper,
