The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 20, 2004
Doris Piper, 89, of Ionia, passed away March 18, 2004 in Belding. She was born 
April 23, 1914 in Boyne Falls the daughter of Henry and Edith (Edelstein) 
Jaffe.

She is survived by her sons, Doug and Lynne Piper of Maryland, Fred and Diane 
Piper of Ionia; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She was 
preceded in death by her husband, DeForest in 1962, two brothers and two 
sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. 
Visitation will be held Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral 
home. Interment Balcom Cemetery.
