Ionia Daily Sentinel, 7 Mar 1958

Prayer service for one-year-old Debra Jean Piper, who died at Henry Ford 
hospital in Detroit Tuesday morning, was held Thursday morning at 9:30 at 
Phelps funeral chapel.

Funeral service was conducted by Msgr. Joseph Henige at St. Joseph’s Catholic 
church in Pewamo at 10 a.m.  Interment was in Pewamo cemetery.

Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey VanVleck, Mt. 
Pleasant; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krieger, Albion; Mrs. Grace Piper, Mrs. Ruth 
Munger, Miss Mary Piper, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Munger and Mr. and Mrs. Donald 
Johnson, Fenwick, and many friends and relatives from Fowler and Westphalia.
