(June) Piper, 47, died suddenly Sunday at her home in Easton township. Mrs. Piper was born in Mississippi and moved to Ionia 25 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Roy. Services will be held from the Bradley funeral home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Paul Stewart officiating. Interment will be at Highland Park cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Thursday, February 5, 1948 Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Piper were held from Bradley’s funeral home Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Paul Stewart officiating. Interment was in Highland Park cemetery. She died suddenly at her farm home in Easton Sunday. Her bearers were her six nephews, Edward Bensinger, William Bensinger, DeForest Piper, Gerald Perry, Donald Jackson and Howard Smiley. In charge of the floral arrangements were Mrs. Fred Rowley, Mrs. Max Grill, Mrs. Eugene Carr and Mrs. Evan Wolscheid.
