The Ionia County Shopper’s Guide, June 2007


Douglas E. Pitch, of Nashville, MI. formerly of Portland, age 64, passed away 
on June 11, 2007. 

Surviving are his wife, Janice; daughters: Vickie, Cindy (Gary) Pung, Lisa 
(Nick) Pung, and Laura Pitch; grandchildren Brad (Jenny), Jade, Alyssa, Alexa 
and Devin Pung, Zack, Brett and Jolee Pung and Grayden Paulin; brothers Kurt 
(Kathy) Pitch of Portland and Howard (Margie) Pitch of Muir; 3 stepchildren, 9 
step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; several nieces and a 
special nephew, Danny.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 15, at the Fist Baptist Church of 
Portland.  Arrangements by Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., 
Portland.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blodgett.
