Laradon “Barney” L. Pitsch, age 81, of Saranac, passed away Nov. 1, 2015, in
Wyoming, Michigan.  He was born June 28, 1934, in Michigan, the son of Leander and
Frieda (Story) Pitsch. 

He was an Army veteran.  Barney worked as a police officer for the city of Ionia and
as a corrections officer for 26 years.  He also worked at Saranac Hardware.  He was
a Cub Scout leader and had a love for the circus and fishing.

Barney is survived by his children, Lisa Pitsch of Ada, Kevin Pitsch of Hawaii and
Kurt Pitsch of Saranac; grandchildren, Derrick, Amanda, Joshua, Sarah and Jacob and
5 ˝ great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  Arrangements by Lake
Funeral Home of Saranac.
