The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, October 11, 1954


Mrs. Thomas Place, 80, of Musgrove Road, Lake Odessa, died Friday evening at 11 
o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Perkins, Route 2, Grand 
Ledge.  

She had been a resident of Lake Odessa for thirteen years.  She was born Fannie 
E. Neeves at Midclift, Ontario.  Her husband preceded her in death about two 
years ago.

Besides her daughter, she leaves one sister, Mrs. E. Valentine of the 
Millington area, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will beheld Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at the Gorsline and 
Runciman funeral home in Lansing.  Interment will be at the cemetery at 
Millington.
