Dec. 3, 1917 Henry Lee Plant, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Plant, 528 East Main Street, died Sunday at the home. He was 19 years of age, and had been ill only about ten days, from an infection in his throat, which was followed by blood poisoning. Living in this vicinity nearly all his life he leaves many friends, to whom he was known as an exemplary young man. Besides his parents, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Chas. Lobdell of his city, Mrs. Sklapsky of Saskatchewan, Mrs. Wallace Wilcox of Durand and the youngest sister Beatrice, whose sight was lost about six years ago when she was accidently shot, and who is now in the blind school at Lansing. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the residence, Rev. C.C. Buckner officiating. Interment will be in the Tuttle cemetery.
