Ionia Sentinel Standard
A lifelong resident of Portland, Mrs. Edna M. Plant, 84, died at St Lawrence 
hospital in Lansing Thursday.  She was a member of St Patricks Catholic church 
in Portland and American Legion auxiliary.  Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. 
Virginia Schwab of Portland.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 am at St Patricks church in Portland, Fr 
Joseph Malewitz will officiate and interment will be at Portland cemetery.  
Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 pm at Neller funeral home in Portland.  
Bearers will be Donald French, Thomas Taliaferro, Thomas Balderson, Robert 
Ribesky, Cleo Mallison and Fred Huyge.
