Funeral mass for Mrs. Erma B. Platte, 67, of route 1, Lyons, will be Saturday at
10 a.m. at St. Marys church in Westphalia.  Interment will be at the church
cemetery.

Mrs. Platte died Thursday at Sparrow hospital in Lansing.  She was born February
22, 1906 at Eagle, the daughter of Elroy and Gertrude McAlister Tillitson.

Besides the husband, Anthony of rural Lyons, she leaves five sons, Harold Howard
of Lansing, Robert Howard of Livonia, John and Rodney Platte of Lansing and
Hilary Platte of Portland; four daughters, Mrs. Eileen Benton of Corpus Christi,
Texas, Mrs. Rosemary Lyon of Mulliken, Gertrude Platte of Lansing and Mrs.
Pauline Purvis of Lansing; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two
brothers, W. J. Tillitson of Eagle and Gordon Tillitson of Charlotte.

Rosary will be recited Friday at St. Marys church in Westphalia at 8 p.m. 
Arrangements were made by Neller funeral home in Portland.
