The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 20, 1949


Funeral services were held for Alfred F. Pline, 64, at St. Joseph Catholic 
church in Pewamo Wednesday morning by the Rev. Fr. Joseph H. Henige. Interment 
was in St. Joseph cemetery.

Mr. Pline died Sunday evening at his farm home at Maple Corners after being ill 
for several months.

He is survived by his wife, Susannah; a son, John, who resides at the farm home 
with his family; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Verase, of Ionia; two grandchildren, 
and one sister, Mrs. John Bedenbender of Westphalia.
