PEWAMO- Carl J. Pline, 74, of Pewamo, died Thursday in Lansing. He was born in 
Lyons Twp.  on June 2, 1918, the son of Bernard and Katharine Rocklitz Pline.

He was retired from Chrysler Corp. in Lyons; and was an avid hunter, trapper 
and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine; two daughters, Betty Randall of Muir, and 
Sally Vaughn of Jensen Beach, Fla; five sons, Ronald of Muir, Leonard of Ionia, 
Gary of Greenville and Richard and Scott of Pewamo; 12 grandchildren; three 
step-grandchildren; one brother, Gaylord of Lyons; and one sister, Margaret 
Marsh of Lansing.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, at the Neller Chapel, Portland, 
with the Rev. Elaine M. Buker officiating.

The family will be at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 
p.m.

Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.

Casket bearers are Donald Randall, Gene Vaughn and Timothy, Ronald, Scott and 
Leonard Pline.
