Ionia County News-Thurs. April 7, 1960

BENNIE POCUIS
Bennie Pocuis, 75, died unexpectedly at his home on Charles road near Lyons,
Wednesday March 23.  He was born august 8 1884.Coroner Neil Phelps and Ionia State Police
officers said that Mr. Pocuis died from natural causes.

He was the father of St. Johns high school principal, B. Stanley Pocuis. Other
survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Stella Ross of Ellenburg, Washington; a sister in Chicago,
and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett Funeral
Home in Muir.
