Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Apr 1978

Frances N. Pohl, 60, of 731 Starkweather, Lansing died Friday at a Lansing hospital.
 He was born October 6, 1917 in Riley township, the son of Michael Pohl and Anna
Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel and Michael of San Diego, California’ one
daughter, Mary Ann Tuzza of San Diego, California; one brother, Leonard of Grand
Ledge; two sisters, Mrs. Louise Gross of Portland and Mrs. Genevieve Brown of
Lansing and four grandchildren.

Funeral mass was Monday at 10 a.m. from St. Patrick’s church in Portland with Father
Donald Weber officiating.  Burial was in St. Mary’s cemetery.  Rosary was recited
Sunday evening at the Neller funeral home.
