Funeral services will be held at nine o’clock Friday forenoon at St. Patrick church. Burial will be made in Portland cemetery. Mrs. Pohl’s maiden name was Josephine Knoop. She was born in Westphalia and 19 years ago last fall was united in marriage to Mr. Pohl, the couple starting housekeeping on the place known as the old T. J. Lockwood farm near the Barr schoolhouse, where the death of Mrs. Pohl occurred. Besides the husband Mrs. Pohl is survived by six children all at home. They are Inus, Anna, Florence, Agnes, Janet and Mary, the latter being the baby born Tuesday. A mother, Mrs. Knoop, of Westphalia and four sisters and three brothers also survive, Mrs. Joseph Rademacher and Mrs. Will Weaver of Fowler, Mrs. John A. Pohl and Mrs. Oscar Smith of Westphalia; Frank Pohl of Pewamo, and Ferdinand and Albert Pohl of Westphalia.
