TOM POHL
Woodland, MI - Tom Pohl, age 65, of Woodland passed unexpectedly on 
Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

He was born in Lansing to Peter and Margaret (Meyers) Pohl. Tom loved farming 
his family land in Portland. He also took great pride in the work he did for 
AM General. In 1979 he married Ardella Badder along with her three daughters 
and later that year they welcomed another daughter.

Tom was a wonderful family man and cherished every one of his grandchildren 
and great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind wife, Ardella; children, Jody (Dan) Swift, Leann Gardner 
VanAcker, Teresa Hilley, Missy (Chris) Stambaugh and Stephanie (Jordan) 
Porter; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry Pohl 
and Maryann (Ed) Eldridge, along many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Tom in death were his parents, along with sibling, Rosie Bugbee and 
Mickey Pohl.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 2 until 5 p.m. at Koops 
Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday Nov. 6, 2017 at Koops 
Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Woodland memorial Park, Woodland.

Memorial contribution can be given to Sunfield Sponsored Programs for Youth
