Poole, 77, died suddenly Saturday morning at 8:30 in an automobile in which she was riding. She was born in Birmingham, England, and after her marriage in Liverpool she came to Ionia where she has resided since. Survivors are three sons, Edward and James Poole of Ionia, and Joseph Poole of Chicago, one daughter, Mrs. H.H. McGowan of Ionia, and two sisters, Elizabeth and Ellen Earley. Funeral services will be conducted at SS. Peter and Paul church Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock with Interment at the family lot at Mt. Olivet cemetery. Mrs. Poole had attended church at SS. Peter and Paul, and was on her way to her home, 616 Lafayette street, when stricken. A heart attack was the cause of her death. Mrs. Poole was the widow of Joseph E. Poole, former Ionia city clerk.
