J. M. Jensen officiating. Interment at the Letts cemetery. Bearers for the services were: Lyle Houghton, Bert Houghton, Charles Houghton, Lee Phelps, Elmer Shook, George Hazzard and music by Mrs. Mable Hinds, Mrs. Kate Taylor with Mrs. Albert Hinds at the piano. Mr. Porter, 55, died when a farm wagon he was driving was struck from the rear by an automobile trailer truck Saturday evening. He is survived by the widow, Barbara, one daughter, Mrs. Lucy Cahoon of Penn Yann, N.Y., three step- children, Reva and Howard Goodenough and Mrs. Arthur Leifheit, four brothers, Eric, Benjamin, William and John, of New York and three sisters, Mina and Alice of New York and Mrs. Seymour Ashley, of Beulah.
