Portland Observer – Wednesday, 11 October 1882
DIED – At the residence of her mother at Halladays Corners, in Danby, Oct. 3d, 
1882, Miss Ida Francis Porter, age 25 years 3 months and 20 days.  She had 
been a patient sufferer for several months, but died triumphantly in the faith 
of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Her funeral was held Thursday and was largely 
attended.
