The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 29, 1910


Warren E. Porter, Ionia township, died Friday afternoon.  He was a son of Seth 
Porter, was 43 years old, and leaves a wife but no children.  He has been out 
of health two or three years, but confined to the house only about three 
weeks.  Funeral Sunday, 2 p.m., from the home, about two miles northeast of 
city.  interment, Highland Park.

Subsequent Publication, date unknown:

The funeral of Warren Porter, Ionia township, was a very large one, on Sunday, 
one of the largest in recent years in that vicinity.
