Ionia Daily Standard, 10 Jan 1906, page 4

Mrs. Warren Porter of Ionia township was taken to Ann Arbor only a few days ago,
for an operation; today a casket enclosing the remains was brought back to the
home town.  Death took place at 8:50 p.m., on Tuesday, from septicemia. 
Deceased was aged 36 years.  She survived the operation, and there was no other
thought than that she would recuperate nicely, but it was not so to be.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
